After two failed “Bad Girls” remakes in the US – which never got past development – a third has been commissioned for the Fox Network.
So – Victoria Alcock – aka Julie Saunders – has joined EastEnders – as Lorraine Salter, a part originally played by Linda Henry (Yvonne Atkins and currently Shirley in the soap). Lorraine is the mother to Mandy Salter, played by Nicola Stapleton (Janine Nebeski). It’s one big Bad Girls circle!
Andrew Lancel, who played Barry Pearce during Bad Girls Series 4, has been nominated for Best Serial Drama Performance for his role in Coronation Street.

Waterloo Road newcomer Sarah Hadland has teased that her character, Linda Radleigh, has a dark side. The actress, who will first appear on Waterloo Road during Episode 7.13, has previously appeared in Bad Girls as Spike, during Series 4.
